Classification of power fittings
1.According to the function and structure, it can be divided into suspension clamps, tension clamps, UT clamps, connecting fittings, splicing fittings, protection fittings, terminal connectors, T-type clamps, busbar fittings, guy wire fittings, etc.; It can be divided into line fittings and substation fittings according to the purpose.
2.According to the product unit of power fittings, it is divided into malleable iron, forging, aluminum, copper and aluminum and cast iron, with a total of four units.
3.It can also be divided into national standard and non-national standard.

4.According to the main properties and uses of the hardware, the hardware can be roughly divided into the following categories:
- 4.1 Suspension fittings, also known as support fittings or suspension clamps. This kind of hardware is mainly used to hang wire insulator strings (mostly used for linear towers) and to hang jumpers on insulator strings.
- 4.2 Anchoring fittings, also known as fastening fittings or wire-resistant clamps. This kind of hardware is mainly used to fasten the terminal of the wire so that it can be fixed on the insulator string of the resistant wire, and it is also used to fix the terminal of the lightning protection wire and the anchoring of the cable. The anchoring hardware bears all the tension of the wire and the lightning conductor, and some anchoring hardware becomes a conductor.
- 4.3 Connecting fittings, also known as hanging wire parts. This kind of fittings is used for connecting insulators into strings and connecting fittings to fittings. It bears mechanical loads.
- 4.4 Splicing fittings. This kind of hardware is specially used for connecting various bare wires and lightning conductors. The connection bears the same electrical load as the wire, and most of the connection fittings bear all the tension of the wire or lightning conductor.
- 4.5 Protection fittings. This kind of hardware is used to protect wires, insulators, etc., such as pressure equalizing rings for protecting insulators, heavy hammers for preventing insulator strings from being pulled out, anti-vibration hammers and guard bars for preventing wire vibrations, etc.
- 4.6 Tension joints. This kind of hardware is used for connecting hard busbar, soft busbar and outgoing terminal of electrical equipment, T-connection of wires and parallel connection without load, etc. These connections are electrical contacts. Therefore, higher electrical conductivity and contact stability of the contact fittings are required.
4.7 Fixed fittings, also known as power plant fittings or high-current busbar fittings. This kind of fittings is used for fixing and connecting various hard busbars or soft busbars and pillar insulators in power distribution devices. However, since these fittings are used for high current, all components should have no hysteresis loss.
